Bought this for one of our dogs who doesn't always like to sit still in the car and tries to climb onto the driver which is a problem. This clips into the seat belt receptacle on one end and clips to the dog's harness on the other. You can clip it to the collar but that's not really recommended. It fits the seat belt for a 2012 Honda CRV.
